I preferred the old logo: I think that a more prominent logo made gave each visit more of a sense of occassion or something… Also, what's with the new shortcut icon? I don't speak geek, but I'm sure it has some significance…

I Like the new design. Expecially now that the links are on the left. Also the the fonts are pretty classy! It is also slightly easier to navigate now. Some of your finest work.

There appears to be an issue with the time-stamping of the comments…

#1: The old logo is gone because I never liked it. It was pole-cat ugly and served no purpose. The shortcut icon is a glider from John Conway's Game of Life [http://www.bitstorm.org/gameoflife/]. Eric Raymond proposed it as a geek icon earlier this year. I think it represents SoylentRed because it seems to change and make progress, but it's really just the same thing over and over again.

#2: I moved the navigation because there are too many sites with right-side navigation menus now. It was getting passé.

#3: Comment time-stamps have been fixed. I have no idea where that bug came from.

I still have some Internet Explorer bugs to work around, but I'll leave it for a while to let the 'it does what it's meant to do' argument dissolve.
