Falling and Landing

An old friend of mine was fond of saying, "Falling is the best feeling in the world. Landing is the worst." At the time I never interpreted this in anything more than a literal sense. It now occurs to me that if you replace "falling" with "falling for somebody" you get a lot closer to the truth.

Landing for somebody isn't so bad. Just as long as you get it right. I was landing for someone once and I crashed the plane. There were no survivors, not even Jamie…

On a more serious note though, I think you are more in the falling situation like Danny was. Luckily your friends are around to catch you before you slam into the school yard two stories dowm.
