John Gruber at Daring Fireball has a spot-on take-down of Bill Gates' comments about features in Mac OS X being copied from Windows. This summary at the end makes the point well enough on its own:

That seems to be their way of dealing with the fact that Apple is implementing and shipping major new features in Mac OS X far more quickly than Microsoft has been able to do with Windows. I.e., in Microsoft's view, it's not that Vista now offers features that appeared in Mac OS X in 2003; it's that Mac OS X has features that Microsoft talked about in 2001.
